Welcome to ReviewKarma.com,
the Amazon review exchange for e-book authors.
Here’s how it works:
Every week, each member will receive a personalized email with titles available to review. Every time you leave a review for someone’s book, you’ll earn a Karma Point. The number of Karma Points you have determines how many other members will have the opportunity to review your book. The more reviews you write, the more reviews you’ll get.
Karma points will be updated automatically each week, so all you have to do is leave reviews and watch as your e-book gets reviews in return.
Here’s how to get started:
Sign up to join the ReviewKarma mailing list by following the menu link above. On the form, you’ll share your Amazon reviewer name, a link to your book on Amazon, and a PDF version of your book.
On the following Monday, you’ll receive an email with a list of e-books available for review. You’ll download PDF’s of the books you want to read, provide reviews on Amazon.com, and then the Monday after that your e-book will start showing up in other members’ weekly emails.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How much does this service cost?
Participation in the ReviewKarma exchange is completely free.
Why should I join the ReviewKarma exchange?
As an e-book author, I know how hard it can be to garner reviews for your work. There are lots of forums where people can swap reviews, but no moderated exchange. The KarmaReview exchange aims to simplify the process and help authors help each other.
Who are you, anyway?
My name is Andrew, and I’m a writer living in Colorado.
What kinds of books can be submitted to the exchange?
Any kind of books can be submitted, from fiction to non-fiction, sci-fi to biography, erotica to mathematics.
Can you guarantee 5-star reviews?
Absolutely not. Reviewers should be honest in their reviews, and authors who join the exchange should expect to receive honest reviews. That said, most authors I’ve met are pretty kind when they review the work of their peers.
Can you guarantee that I’ll get as many reviews as I leave?
Nope, sorry. The review exchange is wholly dependent on its members. Nobody gets paid – It’s just an easier way to swap reviews. However, the more reviews you leave, the better exposed your own work will be.
How many reviews should I expect to receive?
ReviewKarma is a new service as of December 2013, and we’re starting with exactly one member. As membership grows, so will the number of reviews you receive. As long as the list keeps growing, there’s no limit to the number of reviews you might get. Also, if you leave a review for another member’s book, your book will be near the top of that member’s list in their next email.
Can I submit multiple books?
Yes. Just fill out the form multiple times.
How can I help?
Spread the word! (Try using the “sharing” buttons below!) The more members we have, the more books we’ll have to review, and the more reviews we’ll get on our own books. The ultimate goal is to build a large community where every member helps support every other member.
Wait, tell me again how much this costs?
It’s still free.
